Honoring Grace Voorhis
We invite you to join us in celebrating the impact of KIPP Northern California and honoring Grace Voorhis, a champion of educational equity and a pillar of our community. For nearly two decades, Grace’s vision, leadership, and generosity have helped shape KIPP’s growth and strengthened opportunities for thousands of students.
Grace has been guiding us from the very beginning. She served on our original Advisory Board and Committees, then on our governing Board of Directors, including a term as Board Chair, for a total of two decades of volunteer leadership. She steered KIPP through pivotal moments, from more than tripling in size to expanding to Stockton, to pandemic recovery, and beyond. Grace continues to leave her mark as an invaluable supporter and fierce advocate for our students, alumni, and schools, as well as for numerous other Bay Area organizations.

Who will benefit from your support?
KIPP schools are best-in-class, college-prep public charter schools in neighborhoods that deserve high-quality options. Most of our students will be the first in their families to attend and graduate from college, and we are proud to provide free, joyful, academically excellent school options in the communities where they live.
Our students are part of a generation destined to make a difference. That means our job is to deliver an excellent education that helps them see their worth, realize their potential, and be ready to embrace the future. Founded in 2002, KIPP Northern California has grown into a community of 23 schools across 7 cities, educating over 7,100 elementary, middle, and high school students, and providing intensive support to 1,000 alumni.
